Top Five London CBD Bars, Cafes, and Restaurants

18th October 2019

CBD, or cannabidiol, has become the ingredient de rigueur of London’s health and wellness scene. There is so much choice in London for those after some CBD and this list by no means exhaustive. However, these are arguably the top five of the best and we hope you have a chance to check one out as soon as possible. If you feel there’s somewhere more worthy of praise please let us know in the comments.

Behind this Wall

Run by a group of friends in Hackney, this dimly lit bar offers an effortlessly cool vibe. The menu on offer can be a bit intense for the casual drinks fan but the experienced staff are on hand to give you any recommendations.

There are a string of experimental ingredients mixed in with more regular cocktail fare. Another cool touch is that everything on the menu changes on a seasonal basis.

A cool addition to the bar is their sound system which has been assembled using composite parts from the ‘golden era’ of the audio-industry. So not only is the food and drink unique but the audio experience is too.

Maison Bab

Kebabs are just a fantastic food. The problem, however, is that they're not terribly healthy – Enter: Maison Bab.

Not your usual greasy hunks of delicious goodness, Maison Bab presents a menu of rustic kebabs. All of these are made using homemade ingredients and even the decor tells you this isn’t your typical local kebab shop.

But that’s not all they do. They also have a pretty fantastic cocktail menu. One in particular really stands out; the Gin & Chronic. This playful little mixture of CBD oil, Bombay Sapphire, and lemon makes for one of the most flavourful experiences on the menu.

Kalifornia Kitchen

The Kalifornia Kitchen believe that healthy equals sexy. That’s why they put their all into providing customers with the freshest, eco-friendly menus using only ingredients that are sure to nourish and replenish you. All their options are free from animal products or harmful plastics.

Their mouthwatering “Panko Chikken Burger” is made from golden panko mushroom, with homemade sriracha mayo, pickled red cabbage, and rainbow jalapeno slaw. Located in central London, they offer brunch, lunch, and dinner menus. Or if you’re feeling lazy, yet healthy, they do deliveries too.

Farmacy

The tagline for Farmacy is ‘Eating as Nature Intended’ and it’s clear they practice what they preach. Founded in 2016 by Camilla Fayed as a place for those passionate both about healthy and tasty food, they’ve gone from strength to strength creating recipes good for human health and sustainability.

A particular treat is their three-tier stand for afternoon tea. This features a range of CBD-infused treats (including a delicious CBD-infused cocktail) followed by a selection of sweet and savoury treats. Booking is essential at Farmacy to avoid disappointment and high tea can be purchased for £42 per person.

The Feel Good Cafe

The Feel Good Cafe is the place to be in London for vegan and whole food options. The dishes are as good for you as they are tasty. Their Forest Warrior burger served with truffles, button mushrooms and pearl barley is a particular favourite.

CBD Coffee

They even sell a range of supplements including CBD oil. Each one can add a vitally important health kick into your daily routine.

The cafe also sells 100% organic cold-pressed coffee which is available in any of the coffees on their menu. Other drink highlights include an alkaline smoothie, turmeric lattes, matcha lattes, and even a beetroot latte served with maple syrup.
