Timberland & Christopher Raeburn launch limited edition and mainline men’s collaboration.
Timberland has unveiled a men’s apparel collaboration with British designer Christopher Raeburn. Raeburn, whose label of the same name is synonymous with responsible, intelligent fashion design, first teased the project at London Fashion Week Men's in June, where our Fashion Editor, Thomas Falkenstedt, got a view of an assortment of exclusive, runway-only styles representing the forthcoming collection.
Having always been a fan of both, Thomas gives us the details of the collaboration.
Christopher Raeburn’s design ethos encompasses three key pillars – REMADE, REDUCED, RECYCLED – which complement Timberland’s longstanding commitment to make products responsibly as it steadily increases its use of recycled, organic and renewable materials over time.
Christopher Raeburn also heralds craftsmanship and utility as central to his design philosophy, again creating a natural and authentic connection to the Timberland brand.
An iconic range
With craft, quality and innovation at the heart of the project, the seventeen mainline pieces and the eleven limited edition styles include an iconic range of contemporary archetypes, like short and long sleeve t-shirts, crewneck sweatshirts, hoodies, joggers and utility cargo pants plus assorted outerwear.
These pieces will are offered in military-inspired colours as well as phantom camouflage graphics mixed with more contemporary colours such as ocean blue, black and molten lava red.
Minimising environmental impact
Each piece is made using a range of eco-conscious materials including ethically-sourced organic cotton and recycled PET, based on the shared belief of seeking the most sustainable materials and working with responsible manufacturing partners to minimise impact on the environment, something we at Candid always applaud.
