Sunday brunch is a tradition for some, getting together some friends to catch up on your week’s pits and peaks, discussing loves found and/or lost, or trying to piece together the night before’s party. And there are few things better.
But, shaking up our usual Sunday chill and making us realise that our Sunday scrambled eggs are maybe verging on boring, STK London is hosting its now infamous Brunch Party this weekend to celebrate the opening of its sister restaurant in Ibiza. Bringing the Balearic Island vibes to the table, the London restaurant – a regular fixture on lists of the capital’s best dining experiences – is dimming the lights and inviting world-class DJs to provide the soundtrack, as well as entertainment from The Girly Show. The VIP crowd are there to get in the mood for summer as much as they are there for some Sunday sustenance.
Starting off with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne on the table, the party on Sunday 7 May will have no trouble getting off to a good start. With two two-hour sittings available, the party goes on until early evening. The usual brunch suspects are on offer – additional to the £30 table price that includes the table and bottle of Veuve per couple and the party atmos – such as pancakes and eggs benedict (of sorts) but the menu is a real meat lovers’ paradise.
Burgers, steaks (duh!) and platter options give the full American experience via Ibiza, by way of London’s Strand. The small STK chain started in the US, with locations in NYC, LA, Miami, Dallas, Orlando and Las Vegas. It extended to Canada and Puerto Rico as well as across the pond to London, Milan, and now the White Isle.
Sittings for STK London’s brunch party are at 1pm and 3:30pm on Sunday 7 May. Regular brunch bookings can be made every weekend. For more information and to book, see details at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/stk-ibiza-brunch-party-tickets-33904537384
