Last night we went to Chelsea-based ConSept’s star-studded, exclusive shopping event in collaboration with charity, Action For Children.
Luxury entrepreneurs and the owners of ConSept, Ali Samli and Goran Svilar, hosted the evening to honour their commitment to the charity; with 15% of all purchases going to Action For Children.
The event also marked the launch of ConSept’s collaborations with London Fashion Week designer, Julien Macdonald and couturier, Nicholas Oakwell. Nicholas arrived looking dapper in a three-piece suit and was followed by an array of celebrity guests.
Guests were welcomed with a glass of bubbly in designer Baccarat glassware as they perused the store’s luxury offering of Hermès, Versace and the store's famous fashion china, designed by co-owner Ali Samli.
Along with fashion VIPs, designer and TV personality, Kimberley Garner; American dancer and choreographer, Brian Friedman; illustrator and author, Daisy de Villeneuve; French creative Samuel Bensoussan; television presenter, Naomi Isted; Global Director of the Oscars Red Carpet Greed Dress initiative, Samata Pattinson; singer-songwriter, Julius Cowdrey; fashion designer, Emilio de la Morena; super-blogger Jai’me Jan of Jaime London Boy; fashion personality, Prince Cassius and Hoxton Radio hosts, Olivia Cox and Sarah Mulindwa all came to support the charity and enjoy the new collections in-store.
We got chatting to the stylish Samuel Bensoussan, who was wearing a De Fursac suit and shirt paired with Stan Smith shoes. Samuel told us: “I'm really enjoying the event and have met amazing people here. I really liked the plate collection designed by Ali Samli.”
Ali and Goran, who featured in Candid Issue 12 – The Fashion Issue, have spent much of their lives working with luxury brands through their design and property business, S2; and felt it was a natural progression to create an opulent retail space.
And ConSept is the definition of luxury. Filled with exquisite designer pieces, handpicked designs and an enormous Russian Fabergé egg cabinet, ConSept celebrates the splendour of the King’s Road.
The layout and brands change every six months and there is always a new label to discover. The entrepreneurs have spent the last several years working on private parties with British Vogue, the WGSN Global Fashion Awards and key events over London Fashion Week.
